Louisville Metro Government’s Quarterly Energy Report

The energy dashboard is designed to provide a high-level understanding of our energy profile, using graphics automatically generated by our benchmarking platform EnergyCAP as billing data is received.

Numerous energy management strategies are being implemented to help track and reduce energy use within Louisville Metro Government, including utility billing analysis and building optimization efforts. Improving utility data management and benchmarking is a top priority and is still a work in progress. The energy dashboard is designed to provide a high-level understanding of our energy profile, using graphics automatically generated by our benchmarking platform as billing data is received.

Please keep in mind that the content and accuracy of the dashboards may fluctuate slightly as new utility data is imported and verified. A given billing period can take 1 – 2 months to fully populate due to standard delays associated with receiving and processing utility bills.

Note: “Facilities” represents various departments whose utilities are funded through the Office of Facilities and Fleet Management. This includes, but is not limited to, facilities used by the following groups: LMPD, Corrections, Animal Services, Emergency Services, Public Health and Wellness, Public Works, Solid Waste Management Services, Administrative Office of the Courts, and various other central operations in Louisville Metro Government.”
