As Louisville Metro Government transitions to a 100% EV fleet, we invite local businesses, companies, and nonprofit organizations to join us in investing in e-mobility through the Green Fleet Challenge.

 
 

Cool Roof Incentive Program

Offered to both residents and businesses, the Cool Roof Incentive Program gives property owners $1 per square foot of cool roof installed. The program aims to help combat rising urban temperatures.

 
 

Lawn Care for Cleaner Air

Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District's Lawn Care for Cleaner Air Program encourages Louisville Metro residents to reduce their harmful lawn-related air emissions by using much cleaner electric and human-powered lawn equipment.

 
 

Brownfield Cleanup Loan Program

The Brownfield Cleanup Loan Program (BCLP) offers below-market rate loans to property owners and prospective purchasers to assist in the cleanup of brownfield properties. BCLP provides financing only for the environmental cleanup portion of the total cost of a redevelopment project on a brownfield site.

 

Solar Over Louisville

The Solar Over Louisville solarize campaign will give Louisville households the opportunity to reduce their energy bills and support the city’s 100% clean energy goals by investing in solar. The campaign will give households bulk-purchasing power to obtain discounted wholesale rates for solar installation and connect participants with a vetted solar installer.

 
 

EPAD Program

The Energy Project Assessment District (EPAD) program allows property owners to secure more favorable financing terms and repay private loans for energy efficiency, renewable energy, and water conservation measures through a voluntary assessment administered by the Jefferson County Sheriff similar to a property tax bill.

 
 

Commercial Energy Star Program

Louisville Metro offers an Energy Star Certification Assistance Program to help nonprofit, K-12, worship facilities and commercial building owners certify their facilities through Energy Star by offering free verification services from a licensed architect or engineer, a $2,000+ value.
